Reception Rooms
At Fellows House we have three wonderful reception rooms:
Drawing Room
A large and beautifully decorated room with a log/coal fireplace and views over the sea and the yacht clubs. This is a beautiful room for entertaining or just sitting and reading a book looking over the ever changing sea. There are two comfortable triple sofas plus three other chairs.
Sitting Room
This room has a large flat screen TV, cable TV, a DVD player (with a collection of DVDs), and a CD player that also feeds music to the drawing room and dining room (with a wide collection of CDs and the ability to connect to an MP3 player). Free wi-fi is available throughout the house and if you require a printer/scanner/copier/fax we can provide this for an additional charge.
The sitting room also has a natural log/coal fireplace and there are a collection of leather backed books such as collections from Dickens, Shakespeare, and Scott, and a full set of Encyclopaedia Britannica. This room is great for relaxing and also provides ample space for children to play. There are two comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed), a leather wing backed chair and a large desk with a leather Captain's chair.
Dining Room
This is probably our most formal room with a large mahogany table that comfortably sits sixteen people. The room also features an open log/coal fireplace and a small ornamental bar that can be extended out for entertaining.
The dining room has large French doors that open on to the large terrace and overlooks the Solent.
